Before Dinah left, she and I went with our friend Colin to a life-of-Jesus themed park called Tierra Santa. It is a Biblical village filled with life-sized paper mache characters, costumed employees, animatronic laser light shows, and a 30 foot "Resurrection Jesus" who pops out of a mountain every hour to Handel's Hallelujah Chorus. Our guide book called it "the most surreal experience you can have in Buenos Aires." I'm inclined to agree.

John and I finally made it to Tierra Santa today. It was every bit as bizarre as Nell told us it would be. We'll post some pictures.
